FC THY-Thisted Q Overview

The football world was rocked by reports suggesting Pep Guardiola could make a sensational return to the dugout to manage former rival Mohamed Salah in Turkey. Following the former Liverpool forward's move to Trabzonspor, speculation intensified that the Man City legend was the club's primary target to lead their new era of dominance.

Mohamed Salah has proven that class is permanent by shattering a long-standing Turkish Super Lig record during his sensational debut campaign with Trabzonspor. The Egyptian forward, who ended his iconic nine-year association with Liverpool this summer, has hit the ground running in the Black Sea region despite his new club's turbulent start to the season.

Tottenham Hotspur outcast Richarlison has received personal phone calls from Mohamed Salah and Fabinho urging him to complete a move to Trabzonspor. The Brazilian forward is desperately seeking an escape route after being frozen out in north London, but negotiations remain complicated ahead of Friday's transfer deadline in the Turkish Super Lig.

Roberto De Zerbi has officially excluded Richarlison from Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League squad following the collapse of a transfer to Everton. Richarlison is now desperately pushing for a late move to Turkish side Trabzonspor before the transfer window closes on Friday, hoping to link up with Mohamed Salah, having publicly declared that he will dictate his own future.
