SD Amorebieta Overview

Hearts manager Derek McInnes has launched a scathing attack on the decision to award Celtic a last-gasp penalty against Motherwell, branding the call "disgusting". The controversial spot-kick, converted by Kelechi Iheanacho, ensures a winner-takes-all showdown for the Scottish Premiership title this Saturday.

The Scottish Premiership title race is heading for a sensational final-day showdown after a night of unimaginable drama. Celtic secured a vital victory at Motherwell through a highly disputed stoppage-time penalty, keeping them just one point behind leaders Hearts. The two rivals will now clash in Glasgow this Saturday in a winner-takes-all battle for the championship crown.

Hearts haven’t won the title since 1960, while Motherwell clinched the trophy only in 1932. Yet both teams are aiming for the title with nine games left.

Motherwell winger Tawanda Maswanhise announced himself on the international stage with a breathtaking Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) goal that is already being talked about as a contender for the strike of the tournament. The Scottish Premiership star, who has been in prolific domestic form, translated that confidence seamlessly into the AFCON as Zimbabwe faced South Africa in a Group B encounter on Monday.
