FC Kosice Overview

The Brazilians stunned the South African football fraternity on transfer deadline day by securing the services of Wandile Dube from AmaZulu. The 22-year-old defender had not yet featured for Usuthu this season, leading many to question the logic behind the Brazilians' decision to add him to their star-studded roster.

The Glamour Boys' habit of settling for a share of the spoils has become a concern as the Soweto giants look to keep pace with the teams leading the Betway Premiership. Amakhosi legend Neil Tovey has called for patience with the head coach, but believes the Naturena-based team must start turning draws into wins if they are to stay in the title conversation.

Amakhosi have been handed a significant injury concern after young attacker Luke Baartman was forced off during South Africa U23’s international friendly against Algeria. The promising forward was unable to complete the first half, adding to the growing list of fitness worries for the Glamour Boys medical staff.

The Zimbabwean forward has emerged as the breakout star of the Betway Premiership this season, propelling Usuthu into the upper reaches of the table. His ruthless efficiency in front of goal has now caught the eye of legendary figures within the South African game.
